Merry Christmas

Gavin and Elliott's first Christmas was awesome. We had everyone over in the morning to our house. There were so many presents that it took up an entire wall! John Soderberg joined us for the family festivities. It was so much fun. In the evening we went over to Uncle Nick's house for even more presents! This year was really fun because Liam really got into it. He was excited to see that Santa had come.

The Polar Express/Kevin's birthday

We decided that we needed a trip to the North Pole to visit Santa. We were in luck because there is a train the leaves out of Whiteriver Valley that goes straight to Santa's village. We had the whole gang there. Grand and Grumpa, Papaw and cousin Bella, Liam and the twins, and Aunt Robyn. We were in luck because the Smtih gang decided they need to see Santa on the same day. Liam got to visit with his buddies,Jonah and Maren on the TWO HOUR ride. This also was Kevin's 36th birthday! What a way to spend your birthday. The North Pole was awesome. On the ride there we received cookies and hot chocolate. Liam was in heaven. We also had prepared him with the movie so he knew what to expect.

The North Pole is a long distance away and I think I was a little hasty thinking that Gavin and Elliott would enjoy this. It was warm and the were very overstimulated. I think they cried for most of the trip. Liam still enjoyed it, and he got to meet Santa.

Little guys

So I didn't have a chance this year to get a family photo done. We had planned to do it outside in the fall leaves, but each time we were scheduled to do it, the weather would be bad or someone was sick. Anyway, I wanted to have some pictures of the boys in front of the Christmas tree. Well, it didn't go so well. I was alone trying to accomplish this and could have really used help. Oh well. Enjoy.

December

I tried to get a cute picture of all 3 guys so I could send out a family christmas card.

Thanksgiving

We went to Kevin's parents house for Thanksgiving this year. I forgot my camera so I took some pictures of the twins when we got home. As you will notice Liam is missing from them. He decided to party the night away with is Grand and Grumpa.

Fun with Sparklers/November 25

Kevin promised Liam that he could play with sparklers. I was a nervous wreck. I had purchased a ton of fireworks for the Forth of July that we never used. Liam had a blast and I got some cool pictures.

Halloween

This was the first year that Liam got to trick-or-treating and boy did he love it! The day started off with Liam going to school in his costume. This year he went as his favorite character from Toy Story, Woodie! Liam went trick-or-treating with some good friends, Jonah and Maren. Gavin and Elliott were also dressed in Toy Story costumes. Everyone had a blast.

The twins are almost 5 months!

Liam is now 2 1/2 and is moving up in school. He now is a hippo, he was a tiger. The twins are growing like crazy. I finally have them in 3-6 month clothes. It's crazy that they could wear 0-3 for so long. It made me a little sad to box all the little outfits knowing that I'll never use them again.

We went to the last Indians game and it was awesome. Liam was totally into it. The section that we were sitting in was a little scary. Two different people, both kids, were hit with foul balls. We stayed until the fireworks. This was Liam's first experience. He loved them. We didn't get home until after eleven and Liam was still wide awake. Next year I might consider taking the twins, but this time they stayed with Grand.

Sunday we had the Toole women over and had pulled pork for dinner. It was nice spending time with Kevin's sisters. Today is Labor Day and we are heading to the Theodore's for some dinner. I can't wait to spend time with them. I haven't been over to their house since the twins!
