Sunday

Last night Liam didn't sleep well. We didn't get home from Nick's until 9:30 and Liam didn't feel like sleeping. I think he finally went to sleep around 10:30. At 2am he was up screaming. He was overtired and a mess. It totally stinks when his schedule gets messed with. How do you teach a 1 year old to be flexible?

Today was Kevin's sister, Robyn, 30th birthday. To celebrate, Kevin's mom planned a family picnic. It was very hot and Liam wanted to run around like a wild man, which meant I had to run around. He had a chocolate cupcake and was on a sugar buzz. Kevin's grandmother, Teresa Zahn, birthday is on the 31st so we combined the picnic for both of them. She is turning 89.

After the picnic we ran home and I got ready for a movie and dinner celebration for Melissa's birthday. Amber Theodore, Amber Lynch, Melissa and myself went to see Sex and the City 2. It sucked. I knew that the reviews had been bad, but I still had a little bit of hope. After, we to Sakura for dinner. It was nice to hang with the girls. I don't get to do that enough.

Saturday

Liam was up by 7:30am this morning. I gave him some breakfast and we headed out the door. I need to pick up some supplies for Nick's bbq so we went to Trader Joe's. After, Kevin was hungry so there was a quick trip to Mcdonalds for pancakes.

It has been crazy warm for May in Indiana. I think the average temp had been in the mid 80's. After Liam had his nap he went for a swim. We have been swimming almost everyday this past week.

6pm we headed for Nick's annual pre race BBQ. There was a ton of people and lots of good food. Liam was a huge it. He has such a good personality.

Friday

Friday- We went to pick all the cool stuff for our new house. Cabinets, carpet, flooring, lighting, and appliances have now been picked. This was a stressful process because I wanted to stay within a budget but it was impossible. Kevin's mom was nice enough to take the day off work so Liam didn't have to tag along for this daunting process. Kevin only had a half day so he headed to work when we were finished and I headed home. Once I got home Liam was napping so it gave me some time to relax. He slept forever. He finally woke up around 3:30 and we got to play. Kevin's mom ran home to do some weeding, but was coming back at 6 so Kevin and I could meet some friends for dinner.

At 6pm, Kevin and I headed out to meet Virginia and her husband Tim. Virginia used to be the office manger for Small Smiles where Kevin works. They were nice enough to have us over for dinner. Kevin and I decided to get a quick drink at the Chatterbox before heading to their house. This was a mistake. Our server split 2 beers all over me and my purse. Oh well. She felt so bad that she gave us our first round for free. After dinner we went to the Rathskeller. This place was packed. I was sweating so bad because it was still 80 degrees at 9pm.

Best $14 ever spent

Monday, Kevin took the day off. He had a physical done and then we had a meeting with Kristi Short, our mortgage lady with Bank Of America. Interest rates are so low right now that we decided to give more money on the new house to get locked in to a good rate. I think the 4.75 is the lowest they are going to get. If they do get lower we can adjusted it. After our meeting we had a fast food lunch at Arby's. Once we got home I decided that I wanted to get Liam a baby pool. After Liam's nap we loaded him in the car and headed for Toys r us. It has been super hot and it is only going to get hotter. It took forever to fill this pool. Once it was ready, the water was freezing. I wasn't really in the mood to get out my bathing suit so I made Kevin get in. They were both super cold. Liam still loved it, I could tell.

Tuesday I needed to get some supplies so we headed to Trader Joes. I love that store. Everything is well priced and they have awesome flowers. It was super hot out again and I promised Liam that he could go swimming if he took a good nap. While he was napping, I decided to do some weeding in the back yard. After he got up I stuck to my promise and got him ready for the pool. Today the water was awesome. The hot sun made it feel like bath water. Liam spent a whole hour playing in the water. This kid is going to be a fish. All that swimming worked up a healthy appetite so I gave him a banana and some pineapple. He loves fruit.

This baby pool is so much fun. I can sit in the sun with my feet in the water while he splashes around. I feel like it is the best $14 ever spent.

Last Weekend

I haven't been able to blog because I was without my computer until today (it is wednesday). Last Friday a couple decided to make an offer on the house! We thought this was good news until we countered it. They didn't respond. Instead they decided to keep on looking. With the offer they first gave us, we would be paying them to move into our house. Selling and buying a house is stressful.

Saturday, Kevin and I got to spend time with our nieces, Bella and Alex. I picked them up from Robyn's work and we ran over to Target. While checking out at Target my older niece, Alex, asked if I was on "team Edward or team Jacob". So funny. I of course answered "Team Edward". I totally felt like a fifteen year old girl. Who cares. Twilight brings everyone together. :) We then went to Steak and Shake for some lunch. Saturdays kid eat free! We drove to the north west side of town so Nick could pick the kids up. After, Kevin and I decided to check out the status of our new house. Nothing has been started. So annoying.

Later that night I went to dinner with Amber Theodore. After, we met up with Amber Lynch and her boyfriend Ryan, and Andy and Melissa, at the Old Point. It was nice to get out without Liam. Kevin stayed home since he was out the last two nights.

Sunday, we decided to get up and go out for breakfast. After we just came back home and hung out around the house. I discovered a 'Jersey Shore' marathon on MTV. I had never watched this show but heard a lot about it. Now I'm hooked. I taped the marathon so I could watch it without Kevin. He isn't a fan. Kevin's mom came over to watch Liam for a couple of hours. We went to see 'Macgruber' which was awesome. After the movie we headed to Old Navy and Borders. Then we went to Sakura for some yummy sushi.

Liam is obsessed with Buster Brown. He always wants to be with him. He wakes up in the morning going bububububu.

Sunday

Today we celebrated June's 4th birthday. It has been a weekend of parties!

We started today off with a trip to our new house in Zionsville. They haven't started building anything yet. I was happy because I want to take pictures of everything, starting off with just the land. We drove around the neighborhood looking at houses trying to figure out which stone we like. Of course, Kevin likes the opposite of what I like. This is going to be a long process.

June's birthday party was great! Liam was a big hit.

I have a lot of pictures from today but my computer is full and my camera died.

It is time to back everything up and delete. I have way to many photos.

My Little Cowboy

So today we went to Maren and Jonah Smith's awesome birthday party. They had all the things that a little kid would dream of. Goats, a mini horse, a pony, and a bunny. Today Liam became a cowboy. He wasn't scared at all. I let Liam touch the rabbit and he loved it. I am a little scared of rabbits. I feel they are wild and not to be trusted. When I held the cuddle bunny it scratched me. I think it could sense my fear.
We had a 2nd showing on the house today. I really hope these people buy our house.
I'm getting worried about this building a home business. It is so much work. We went to the design studio today to start picking stuff out. Everything is an upgrade and they aren't cheap. Damn my expensive taste. We will try to stay within our budget. Wish us luck. :)

Tomorrow we have little Junie's birthday party.

Sunday

Today we decided to go the The Children's Museum. I was surprised that is wasn't super busy. We started with Bob the Builder and then worked our way to Playscape and then to the Carousel. After all that running around Liam, Kevin, and myself were super tired. We decided that it was time for lunch and a nap.

I decided during my nap that I wanted to go out tonight. I called Stacy to see if she wanted to get dinner. She wanted to go to the movies. We went to see the new and improved Nightmare on Elm Street. It was super creepy but the original was scarier. After the movie we went to Brugge for some yummy food.

I got home around 7:30 and Liam was super grouchy. He has a terrible diaper rash so we let him run around naked for awhile. This usually makes him happy, but not tonight. I decided, since he was already naked, that he would get a bath. The bath did the trick or maybe the tylenol kicked in.

I'm super tired and ready for bed.

This weekend kicked my butt.

Saturday

Very early this morning we had some major spring storms. I could her the thunder. When I got up, my alarm clock was flashing, an indicator that the power went out. I still had an itch for new clothes so I asked Kevin and Liam if they were up for a trip to Edingburg for some outlet shopping. They both were into it. I did finally buy something. A sweater. Yes, I know that it is becoming summer, but it was on sale. Liam got some cute new stuff and Kevin got some t-shirts.

After shopping, I decided that I wanted to move the furniture in our bedroom. We took the dresser and the t.v. out and we moved the bed to a different wall. It now looks much bigger.

I put Liam down for his nap today and he was so cute. I was watching his baby monitor, and I couldn't see him but I could hear him clapping. He loves to clap. I peeked in on him and he was just laying on his back clapping like crazy.

Kevin has been obsessed with the Mosley vs. Mayweather fight. Floyd Mayweather is an undefeated boxing champion. Kevin is fascinated with him. The fight is on pay preview for $54.99. He decided to see if any other venues are showing the fight. He is now sitting at Castleton AMC movie theater, after paying $25, to watch this fight. I couldn't go. No babysitter.

I just finished watching 'Pretty in Pink' on VH1. I love that movie. I find it funny that they show teenagers smoking in the hallways at school. I'm surprised that they didn't try to edit the cigarette out of James Spader's hand. Smoking is now more offensive than curse words.
