Memorial Day

Today started off with lots of cleaning. I am constantly cleaning my house. Having a toddler means I have to sweep and mop my floors non-stop. Having twins means that I am always doing laundry. I'm never caught up. My water bill, since the twins arrived, has gone up $30.

The Theodores came over for a BBQ, which Liam slept through most of. That kid can sleep through anything. Once he woke up he was super excited to see Ava and Junie. Kevin made ice cream cones for everyone and we decided to eat them on the back deck. Liam's kiddie pool must of looked very inviting because he got right in clothes and all. He had a blast splashing everyone. I can't wait for next year when the twins can be swimming and splashing also.

The twins colds seem to be getting a little better. They are now starting to sleep a little longer at night. I hope this keeps up! They are finally growing out of all the newborn diapers and clothes.

Liam always is doing things that surprise me. When Ava and Junie left he asked them for high fives. It was the cutest thing. His teacher at school said that he is really coming out of his shell. I wish I could be a fly on the wall when he is there. They say he is quiet and shy, but plays really well with other children. I guess on Friday he played with his friend Sofia. They held hands all morning. :)

Friday

Sammie graduated from high school! YAY. Now she is off to beauty school. I went to the ceremony and it went super fast. I had to find something to wear which was incredibly difficult. Post pregnancy body is no fun. All of my sister's family was in from Alabama. I hadn't seen most of these people in years. It was nice to see everyone.

The twins still have snotty noses and are fussy. I'm not getting much sleep.

Colds in May

So all three boys have colds. I can't handle hearing Gavin and Elliott struggle to breath at night. I'm not sleeping because I'm constantly checking on them. I took them to the doctor today and it was discovered that they both have hernias and need surgery. I can't believe this. They both have them, and they are in the exact same spot. Dr.Yancey told me that this is very common and the surgery is routine. I'm still not sold. I don't like the thought of my tiny babies being put under anesthesia and then having post operative pain. I'm doing my best to keep it cool. Freaking out doesn't help anything.

I finally got my photos back from Adam. I am now waiting for the birth announcements to arrive. I can't wait.

Liam is into screaming this very high pitched terrible scream and also hitting. Thanks daycare. He has a hitting style that is like a windmill or helicopter motion. It hurts. He actually slapped me in the face last night. Terrible twos. He still does things that are super cute and smart. He is now trying to put on his shoes, which sometimes he is successful, and helping me feed the babies. He also is into wearing hats. He as a coon skin hat that he always wants to wear. It can be 80 degrees outside and this kid wants to wear this hat..

Babies

The babies are now a month old and they are doing awesome! They are gaining weight and are out growing all their newborn clothes. I have been super busy with them so I haven't had a chance to update my blog. Sorry. Liam seems to be adjusting finally. I was getting worried. He, for awhile, just ignored the twins. Now he gives them kisses and is willing to help when I need him to get something. He is still a little jealous, but that is to be expected.

I need to take more pictures of these guys! I always forget about it. Liam had about a thousand pictures by one month. I'm starting to feel bad. I promise to take more in the future.

I decided to post the last picture of the guys inside my belly. 5 minutes after this picture I was taken to surgery. This should be the last picture EVER of a pregnant Carly.
