Best $14 ever spent

Monday, Kevin took the day off. He had a physical done and then we had a meeting with Kristi Short, our mortgage lady with Bank Of America. Interest rates are so low right now that we decided to give more money on the new house to get locked in to a good rate. I think the 4.75 is the lowest they are going to get. If they do get lower we can adjusted it. After our meeting we had a fast food lunch at Arby's. Once we got home I decided that I wanted to get Liam a baby pool. After Liam's nap we loaded him in the car and headed for Toys r us. It has been super hot and it is only going to get hotter. It took forever to fill this pool. Once it was ready, the water was freezing. I wasn't really in the mood to get out my bathing suit so I made Kevin get in. They were both super cold. Liam still loved it, I could tell.

Tuesday I needed to get some supplies so we headed to Trader Joes. I love that store. Everything is well priced and they have awesome flowers. It was super hot out again and I promised Liam that he could go swimming if he took a good nap. While he was napping, I decided to do some weeding in the back yard. After he got up I stuck to my promise and got him ready for the pool. Today the water was awesome. The hot sun made it feel like bath water. Liam spent a whole hour playing in the water. This kid is going to be a fish. All that swimming worked up a healthy appetite so I gave him a banana and some pineapple. He loves fruit.

This baby pool is so much fun. I can sit in the sun with my feet in the water while he splashes around. I feel like it is the best $14 ever spent.
