August

This summer has flown by! It is already the middle of August and the babies are 4 months old. They are getting so big. Last Friday they went to their 4 month check up and they both are 23 inches long (which is short) and Gavin is 12.13lbs and Elliott is 12.8lbs. Both are in the 25th percentile. This seems crazy that they are measuring small because they seem so big. I guess coming from 5lbs and 17inches they are big!

I've been taking the babies to the office every Monday and Friday but I'm thinking that I'm not going to anymore. It seems impossible to get any work done. Both like to be held and they only take short little cat naps which stinks. They are now sleeping through the night. They go to sleep at 8:30pm and wake up around 6am. I'm loving it.

Liam is talking like crazy. He can use my iphone better than I can. He knows how to find his special apps that I bought just for him. He now knows his letters and colors and he can count. He just now brought me 2 pictures of buster brown and he said "two busters". He is so smart. It is crazy how fast kids develop.

The dental practice is going great. We are super busy and have over 300 patients so far. Not bad for only being open 7 months. I hope that it continues. Kevin is working 3 jobs now and I'm ready for him to just work at Toole Family Dentistry. Poor guy is always working. I get to work every other Wednesday at the practice without babies. Dianne (Kevin's mom) stays with all 3 boys. It is so nice to go in without babies. I love my boys, but I need a break.

This past Tuesday Kevin, Liam and myself went to the Indiana State Fair. It was so much fun to watch Liam. He wanted to ride the tracter around the fair. Everytime it would go by he would say "I want to ride that". So of course we had to ride it. It is the perfect way to see everything at the fair. Maybe next year will take the twins. I wanted to have some special time with just Liam this year.
